PowerStation Studios had a fantastic afternoon on Thursday at the Brand and Lifestyle Licensing Awards in the beautiful Dorchester Hotel.
It was our first year supporting the event and we were delighted to sponsor the Best Lifestyle Licensing Award category where our co-founder Dave Collins handed out the award to Smiley Company who enjoyed a very successful night indeed.
Highlights were without doubt the hilarious Rory Bremner and his uncanny Trump impression. Something that Dave has endeavoured to re-create in the office many times since, with limited success.
On a more serious note it’s occasions like the B&LLAS which remind us why we couldn’t be prouder to be a part of this vibrant and unique extended family that we call the licensing industry. The support between brands and agencies is never more present than at industry events such as these and despite it only being the second year for the B&LLAS it already feels like a firm date in the calendar each year.
We’re excited to carry on supporting the B&LLAS as it continues to grow each year but for now our eyes turn to the next awards night in the calendar, the licensing awards on September 12th.
We’re supporting this event in a slightly different way so keep your eyes peeled to hear more. We can’t wait.
